Liley Hall Farm
Mirfield
Nicky and Steve's Aberdeen Angus cows grazing on their farm in Yorkshire
Liley Hall Farm is a 140 acre hill farm overlooking the Calder valley in Yorkshire. The 85 Aberdeen Angus cows form what is known as a Beef Suckler Herd. We cross them with a Limousin bull and sell the calves they produce when they are 6 to 8 months old.
As well as beef farming we undertake dry stone walling restoration, hedge planting/laying and educational visits as part of our Countryside Stewardship Scheme agreement.
